Shop My Galleries

All of the images included in the galleries here (more coming soon!) are available to purchase in a variety of formats if desired. Simply click on gallery link below to look through the photos and then click a photo to review which beautiful products are available through my chosen printing partner, Miller's Lab. Most importantly, please enjoy looking, as sharing the images I couldn't just walk by is truly the primary goal. The photos I offer are intended and chosen to comprise locations, subjects, and perspectives that I've found most people are less likely to encounter (or recognize) in everyday life - but that are for the most part realistically available to everyone who really wants to see it for themselves.

I'm infinitely grateful for the many profoundly gifted and dedicated photographers who are able to hike for several days into vast mountain ranges to shoot that majestic peak or ethereal waterfall many of us, frankly, lack the time, athletic abilities, or funding to access. I hope they never stop seeking out those images and bringing them back out to the rest of us. But that's not what I do. I am very much a "photographer of opportunity" - with a downright obnoxious range of observation and attention to detail, and what I shoot (and print, and hang in my own home) are primarily what I happen to see, and therefore, what you might, too, with similar opportunity. It is my hope that my images add thought and beauty to your life, but also, that they give you ideas - for example, of where you might like to go the next time you get a day or two off, when you have some extra gas money, or when you just need a break, and to remind you to look for similar moments, scenes, interactions, light, or shadows as you move through every "regular" day.

Scenes Of and In Nature

Our natural resources, and specifically, our public lands, are under attack. That's not a political statement; it's a fact, reflected in recent Congressional records, official documents, a broad swath of cross-checked (and searchable) reports. And very little is more upsetting to me than the possibility of losing - forever - so much of what I treasure most about living in these geographically United States. Our land, air, water, and myriad species of plants and animals are precious and irreplaceable. They will not - as we've for too long told ourselves - survive in spite of us. Included here are only a few examples of our national (and natural) treasures, the first gallery gathered specifically from city, county, state, and national parks, wildlife refuges, wetlands, forests, monuments, trails, grasslands, deserts, and waterways that I'm certain we all can agree we do not want to lose, with other galleries featuring our infinitely gracious and forgiving co-habitants.
